One World One Heart blogger event is coming!!

At the end of January I will be participating in the One World One Heart blogging event.

"One World One Heart is a worldwide event for bloggers only. It gives all those who blog a chance to meet and mingle and form connections with those they may not have otherwise met from all over the world."

And there are DOOR PRIZES!!!  That's right! Just for visiting the blogs and leaving a comment you can win a door prize.  Now how much fun is that? Checking out cool blogs, saying hello, meeting new people and maybe winning a prize.

If you are interested in taking part, you can find more information here:

One World One Heart

I hope you join and enjoy! Mac and I will be looking forward to your comments.

Happy Holidays! & My latest project

Mac and & wanted to wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season. We really appreciate you stopping by to share some creativity with us. It means a lot.

Here's what's been keeping my so busy for that past little bit. It's a family tree collage for my Mommy-in-law.
(Click on the pic to see a bigger image.)

She's super sweet and I wanted to do something really special for her this year.  There is a photo of her grandmother, her parents and all her brothers and sisters; ten in all!

Over the holidays,  I'm going to play around and get my studio back in order after the frenzy that took place. "Once Upon A Moon" is "Once Upon A Mess!" at the moment. LOL

January brings us into a new year and a lot more creativity. And regular blog posts, I promise!

For now, Mac and I are going to go find some goodies in the kitchen and then wonder off to bed.

Moonbeams & Blessings!

This blog is running me BATTY!

For some reason my blog has decided to eat my design template. Please bear with me while I try and make sense of this mess. Mac is not helping at all. He's lying on the bed making those squinty cat eyes that they make when they know the answer to the problem and refuse to help. Grrrrrrr  Perhaps if I bribe him...

Mac and I will be posting snippets during the day & keeping you up to date on the fantastical friends that stop in and the magical mayhem that is happening. Don't be the last one to know when the Root Witches are going to be in the shop. I hear there might be a frosty lass on her way soon.

What Tarot Card Are You

This seems to suite me well. Some things touch closer to home than others. But then I guess I have always been a moon child. It's quite evident from the moons you will find everywhere in my home.

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

Saying Goodbye to a Master

Eric Joisel,a master of oragami, passed from this world Oct. 20, 2010.

Wow! It's been along time! (and I have a new piece- finally)

I bet you are all just as bored as Mac is, hmmm?
I'm so sorry I have been such a bad host.
I have been dealing with medical issues that have kept me from doing much in the studio.
It's hard to sculpt when your hands and eyes are working with their own agenda.
At least the doctors are trying to figure it out now.
They've done MRI's, CT scans, lumbar punctures, EEGs, EMGs and tons of blood tests, but we are still not sure what is wrong. Hopefully the next trip to the Neurologist will shed some light on things. But until then, I'm just keeping things positive and working in the studio when my body will hold still long enough to sculpt.

I managed to finish "Sing Sing Sing" who has now been renamed,
"Twig Sprite Sings The Blues"
She is my tribute to all the amazing divas who inspire me with their musical magic.

I'd love to hear what you think of her.

I haven't decided if I will keep her or offer her for sale.
I've become quite attached to the lady. LOL

If she starts looking for a new home, you will be the first to know.

Time for me to wobble off to bed.
Sleep is a great healer,
PLUS Mac is waiting to warm my feet!
