I'm back from OZ after the house fell on me!

OK, maybe a house didn't fall on me, but I have been out of commission for a while now. I apologize for not letting you in on this sooner, but I was not able to sit at the computer.

To cut to the chase, I lost the use of my legs for a while. We don't know why. The Vampires in the white coats are saying it's either a strange complication to my Fibromyalgia or something neurological that they can't find.

Things are looking up though. I have gotten most of the use of my legs back. However, I'm still on a walker or cane, depending on the day. Some are good, some are bad. But all are better than being stuck in a hospital bed unable to move. Talk about something that will tick you off... wake up and try to get out of bed to go to the "Little Girls Room" and realize that it's not going to happen. Needless to say I was NOT fun company.

I'm trying to get back in the swing of things again. My hands are still a bit shaky, but I'm feeling much better about diving back into my art. I just have to do it in short sessions. The Music Man & The Gothling moved my work bench into the living room and shelved a closet to hold all my art supplies. (except the large branches and roots)  I've been sketching a lot this week. I should have have something interesting to show you soon.  Until then, here are the last three tiny projects that I have done. I'd love to know what you think.

  1. Glad you're moving along better, Jesi :)
I really like the female doll on the left! What's her name?
Oh and did you ever grab you some paperclay and try it out?
Talk soon and many Blessings to you!

  2. Thanks, Summer. :) Things are falling back into place here...FINALLY. I'm walking daily and I have very good range of motion now. I guess everything now is just "fine tuning." LOL

The doll on the left is Miss B. Wilder. She has a lot of presence for such a small lady. :) She just kind of sneaks up on you and slowly drives you mad.

I did get some paper clay and I have been dabbling with it. I love the finished look it gives, but I'm not sure I'm in love with it yet. I think it's just a matter of playing with it a bit more. I'll keep you posted.
