We're outta here!

McAnally and I are on the move
The landlord and I had a bit of a falling out.
I came home Wed and found an auction sign in the front yard ...
and the auction is in less than a month!
Sooooo
We have secured a new apartment
set up utility transfers
Mac has thoroughly inspected all the packing boxes
and The Chef, The Rock God, Mac and I are moving on!
Leannan Sidhe didn't come to live with us after all
(insert sad face here)
So it's just me and the guys

New home is AMAZING!
I'll post photos next week.
Until then if you need me, email.
I'll only be offline from the 1st to the 3rd
so you shouldn't miss me. LOL

**singing**
Say a little prayer for me

Talk to you soon

The travels of Bent Willow Woman

Bent Willow Woman is a doll that I started for the Art Dolls Only Traveling Art Doll Project. She left me in March and has been traveling to different members of my group, The American Pies. Each month a different doll maker adds her creative touches to Bent Willow Woman (BWW)  and then writes in the journal that is traveling with her. The project is nearing the end and I wanted to share her travels so far.

Here is how she looked when she started:

and here are the links to her travels so far.

After visiting Mary Palmer:

After visiting Paula Brinkman:

After visiting Sandie Nowell:

This is where we are at the moment.

Bent Willow Woman is currently with

and will then travel to visit

Before making her way back home to NY.

I'll keep you posted on the progress!

Life from a puppets point of view

I loved this short piece on life from a puppets point of view by Coraline director Henry Selick. It very much resembles how I think about my dolls as I'm making them.
Check it out here :)

I have a new home (on the web)

Yep, that's right. I have a new home on the web.
I just went live with

Wait!! Don't panic.
This blog is a part of that website and won't be going anywhere.
I have added a menu for the new site on the left
so that you can check out the rest of the site.

I hope you like it. I had fun putting it together.
I have more things I want add, but the basics are there.
I hope you'll take a moment and check it out.
